I'm trying to help someone get Opendkim signing working with Sendmail, without
success fo far (and I'm not a Sendmail person at all, I use Opendkim with
Postfix). It appears that Opendkim is running and Sendmail can connect to it,
but messages don't get signed. With normal logs, the only information from
opendkim that's logged is:
Sep 25 03:46:57 mailtest opendkim[929]: p8PAiefD002159: can't determine
message sender; accepting
I've attached a slightly munged version of the Sendmail logs when they are set
to verbose. Looking at the part of opendkim that generates that message
(opendkim/opendkim.c starting around line 11078) I gather that this message
only gets generated of the body From of the message is missing/null. Is that
correct?
Maybe there's something simpler? It looks to me like the configuration files
are correct and the sending domain is one of the domains in the list.
