apt-get install libc6-dev

Subject: Want to up grade from2.1.3 to 2.4.2

The Debian stable package still has 2.0.1+dfsg-1 and still in testing is 2.1.3+dfsg-1+b1but I want to upgrade to 2.4.2 and I am getting
opendkim-2.4.2# ./configure
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... /bin/mkdir -p
checking for gawk... no
checking for mawk... mawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking for gcc... gcc
checking whether the C compiler works... no
configure: error: in `/root/opendkim-2.4.2':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details

When I first installed it from debian package I did apt-get upgrade
and then the "install opendkim" after adding

"deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian wheezy main" to the list. But since debian do not yet have the 2.4.2. I wan to upgrade. The log is not sure is I should be sposing so will delete after soon http://www.cakafete.com/config.log Thanks Fred
