Well, the most important part of this was you want is separate, so, it is.

On higher volume postfix servers, all those processes being separate significantly reduces emails per hour one can handle. 

If I found an all in one dkim + spf (in C, with the right features), believe me, I'd already be using it. Maybe some day.
