Not really for memory usage, as on traditionnal situation, if you have N threads, you have N times
the stack allocated for each thread plus the N times the context needed for each connection. So less
memory usage. This is a big win on linux servers.
On the pool of workers you have N times the context of each connection plus the amount needed for
the number of active threads plus a small size needed to manage the workers.
About stability,... try it and see... 8-). On the other hand, Debian distribution enables it, by
default.
