Well it pointed me in the right direction :) The culprit is '--with-unbound', which I have disabled now. I don't get the concept behind it. It appears it is purely used to verify DNSSEC records, which my local Bind could do perfectly fine.
Even with unbound enabled, there should not be inconsistencies in the shared SSL libraries used.
