New DKIM ideas

Fellow OpenDKIM users,

As DMARC continues to gain adoption, the disruption it can cause is also
in focus. There's a DMARC working group at the IETF looking at this and
what ideas there might be to reduce the damage.

Any viable experimental proposals specific to DKIM are candidates for
appearance in the next OpenDKIM release. Some recent proposals are:

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-kucherawy-dkim-delegate/
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-kucherawy-dkim-list-canon/
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-levine-cdkim/
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-levine-dkim-conditional/

Comments on these or other ideas regarding DKIM in a DMARC world are quite
welcome.

There are no current plans to do a 2.11 or 3.0 release since there are no
high-priority bugs or feature requests open. However, OpenDKIM is usually
an early adopter of any idea that might gain traction. Thus, if any of
the above (or something else) is a palatable idea to try, and people here
are willing to experiment, let's talk about it.

One major player has privately expressed interest in the list
canonicalization proposal. What do you think?
