I haven't been able to find a good answer on google...
So I am hoping you guys can help me out.
I am seeing weird things in the headers of my mail... they are below:
1) Why does it tell me unprotected key?
/etc/opendkim# ls -la
drwx--S--- 2 opendkim opendkim 4096 Sep 3 12:33 db
-rw------- 1 opendkim opendkim 43 Sep 1 15:33 dkim-internal-hosts
-rw------- 1 opendkim opendkim 161 Sep 3 13:13 keyTable
-rw------- 1 opendkim opendkim 185 Sep 1 15:34 signingTable
-rw------- 1 opendkim opendkim 81 Sep 1 15:35 trusted-hosts
# ls -la db
drwx--S--- 2 opendkim opendkim 4096 Sep 3 12:33 .
drwxr-sr-x 3 opendkim opendkim 4096 Sep 3 13:13 ..
-rw------- 1 opendkim opendkim 888 Sep 1 15:36 mail.key.pem
2.) Why is dkim-atps=neutral and not pass?
Authentication-Results: mydomain.com; dkim=pass
reason="1024-bit key; unprotected key"
header.d=mydomain.com header.i=_at_mydomain.com header.b=gOCtremi;
dkim-adsp=pass; dkim-atps=neutral
3.) And finally, why does it tell me dkim=neutral (bad format)
Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=pass (google.com: domain of XXX designates XXXIPADDRESSXXX as permitted sender) smtp.mail=me_at_mydomain.com; dkim=neutral (bad format) header.i=_at_mydomain.com
