You can override ADSP. I would not recommend it.

The problems are discussed in RFC 6377. A default opendkim setup
should not cause any problem unless the DKIM-signer is not
advertising a policy which is not in line with the mail traffic.

This mailing list does not generally invalidate DKIM signatures. It
may happen that a DKIM signature gets invalidated as it passes
through this mailing list.
