I haven't started testing this myself, but for the moment I suggest
recompiling without "--enable-resign". There might be a bug in there
that's causing this.

All of the "FFR" things you see in your "opendkim -V" output are "For
Future Release", meaning they're not features that are considered
production-ready yet. Some of them may still be buggy.
