As Gary pointed out, the output of "pstack" would be helpful. Or, attach
a debugger to it and ask for a stack trace from all threads. With gdb,
that would be "thread apply all where"; I'm not sure what it would be for
dbx.

Also helpful would be the options you provided to ./configure when
building.

Neither opendkim nor libopendkim create threads other than at startup;
only libmilter creates threads during runtime.
