Hi, Scott. Leverage as much as you want! :)
The current systemd unit files in the opendkim source /contrib dir are from
me, but I need to tweak them.
So... attached are a couple of patches against the current 2.10 beta source!
opendkim.default-keygen.patch makes
/contrib/init/redhat/opendkim-default-keygen better equipped for being run
manually (instead of from an init script or unit file)
opendkim.service.patch makes a simple change to
the/contrib/systemd/opendkim.service unit file so it doesn't auto-run the
default keygen pre-start any more.
Moving forward (at least in the packages I maintain), I'm going to require
users to generate their own keys prior to signing.
Can someone with commit access to the OpenDKIM source plz apply these at
will?
I imagine when I start working on the SysV ones in a bit (still required
for supported versions of RHEL) I'll probably have a couple more patches
for the init stuff.
