Ok - the good news is that I can now get Opendkim 2.7 (beta 1) to
build and install properly without the additional 11MB of
dependencies. The bad news is that I have to turn off "--enable-stats"
to make it happen.

Here's the current version of the spec file:

https://github.com/stevejenkins/OpenDKIM-Fedora/blob/develop/SPECS/opendkim.spec

and here's a Pastebin of the build log with that spec file on Fedora 17:

Todd and I fiddled with the spec file last week, and determined that
the dependencies are being triggered by something in opendkim-expire).

So unless I build a subpackage (which I really don't want to do), the
choice so far is add 11MB of dependencies, or build without stats
enabled.

Unless someone can help figure out what's triggering the dependency on
DBD:mysql in opendkim-expire.

Any help is appreciated... especially since I'm NOT a programmer. :)
