Hi all,

right after 9 betas I looked deeper at one system...
it was too late, sorry.

The Problem:
I have "UnboundConfigFile /etc/unbound/unbound.conf" in opendkim.conf
unbound.conf was not world readable ( my personal paranoia !? )
The Code in opendkim/opendkim.c ~ line 5930 runs initialy as user root.
later ( ~line 7335 ) there are no further textmessages if an error occour.
I only found this in my maillog:

Feb 22 07:47:56 ergeht opendkim[10051]: can't configure DKIM library;
continuing
Feb 22 07:47:56 ergeht opendkim[10051]: OpenDKIM Filter v2.3.0 starting
(args: -x etc/opendkim/opendkim.conf)

today I found, that opendkim switched to an user "dkim"
and *that* user cannot read UnboundConfigFile :-(

-> 1. the errormessage could be clearer.
-> 2. I ask the unbound mailinglist if unbound.conf could be world readable.
      ( I assume, but want to be sure ... )

Andreas
