Hi,
since 3 months I am a mirror of dkim-reputation.org. I monitor the terrible
low request rate. It is much below 1 query / minute. Nearly nobody is
really using it.
I ask Florian Sager, the maintainer of dkim-reputation.org, for some statistics.
- 190000 entries ( complete address + domains )
- 20000 above +100
- 5500 above +200
- 63 domains above +200
he noticed decreasing number of dkim signed spam reported to him.
Maybe because of negative reputation. For me this looks like a success story:
"sign if you want to deliver because spammers avoid signing"
Currently support for dkim-reputation.org must be enabled at compiletime.
Then "ReputationReject" is +1001, an impossible high value.
I suggest to lower the default to +200 and mention that in the Releasenotes.
Murray:
you started a call for reporting enabled features some months ago.
could you tell about the results regarding this feature ?
